We recently worked on designing and printing a batch of business cards for a carpentry/joinery business based in Bakewell - a scenic town which is often referred to as the heart of the Peak District. The client already had their logo in place and needed some promotional material to tie their company image together, we used inspiration from the logo itself and other aspects of the industry as well as client feedback in initial interviews to create an outcome which the client was over the moon with.
The business cards were printed onto 450gsm Silk Cardstock, which is a premium business card material, giving the cards a really luxury and high-end feel. These were finished off with matt lamination for a touch of class and durability and featured a small area of Spot UV - a gloss laminated section of card which was carried out in the shape of the logo for the business. Even though this wasn't a large project, we made sure that we designed and printed the cards to the highest standard, making sure that the client was thrilled with the outcomes and giving the client a competitive edge. If you're handed one of these cards, you'll be hooked already! You can see the cards and how they look and perform below.

A brand identity is essentially an identity which portrays your business - think of a person. When you look at somebody, quite often we have a tendency to judge people, from what they're wearing, to how they style their hair etc. This is nothing new. So when it comes to businesses, why is it any different?
Take a food retailer as an example, a food retailer with a strong identity comes across with the aura of professionalism, experience and safety. With food hygiene being a big factor in food production, a strong identity shows that the business doesn't cut corners and therefore you would expect that they wouldn't cut corners with your food. This could mean a logo, font choice, the way images are taken and the colours. It's so important for a business to have a strong identity to attract new business, through safety, aesthetics and trust. With a number of ongoing client jobs at the moment, we couldn't be happier! We're currently undertaking a wide range of jobs, with a full identity creation projects currently in the works for a new customer! We've never done a job like this before, so it's an exciting one!
Our own promotional material should be ready for handing out as well soon, so hopefully you will be able to see our business cards floating around the local area within the coming weeks. |
