Last year we were approached to create a packaging design for a new 'superfood snack bar' by the popular snack company Yeo Valley. The snackbar was to help people eat healthily and had to target older audiences rather than kids, meaning it targeted the health conscious gym-goers. It contained lots of natural superfoods which we wanted to reflect through the packaging, showing the product as more natural rather than engineered for working out. We decided to use illustrations of these superfoods in the background behind the text, on top of a green coloured background. This therefore reflected how the snack bar was bursting with superfoods, as well as flavour.
